Education on Reservation

Good Morning ..! This will be the very first word everybody used to say, when they happened to see a person for the first time during that day. A morning Greeting may give some feel, that the morning will be a pleasant one. Its just a Wish or a habit or simply a Hello. This happens in most places, like when we woke up from the Bed, we get this wishes from our family members, when going outside- thru our friends, colleagues etc etc., These are all a good experience in everyday life..!

Most of us will have the habit of watching/hearing News in either through the Radio or Television.

Somebody will simply occupy themselves with the Dailies in one hand and a cup of Coffee in the other.
Let us group these kind of People as Group 1.

Some others will listen to their favorite channels, listen to their favorite music, make their workouts at the Gymnasium, play their favorite game. They simply occupy themselves into some job. Let these people be considered as Group 2.

Are these Group 1 people not interested in any entertainment works ?? Are they just interested in knowing what is happening around them or the nation.?

Are these Group 2 people not interested in News/politics ?? Or Are they not aware of whats happening around them ?? Does it really mean that these kind of people are not interested in knowing about the nation.

Both these kind of people keep themselves busy in either of these categories.
Fine. Lets take this a bit in detail about the people in Group 1 for the rest of the talk. Yes.! We need to talk about something we are coming to know through this media, the only way. And so I just took a sample in taking out these Group 1 People.

In India, in almost any Television/Radio/Newspaper the Wonderful morning or the Joyous evening is greeted by - to say will defenitely greeted by some of the topics like Cricket, Cine Stars Marriage, Songs for the day etc..

Does these topics really help India to improve ?? Of course some do.
Slightly deviating from these routine talks let us have a topic, which in deed getting discussed in the society, media. RESERVATIONS..!

Reservations do play a very major role in India. Its quite obvious that people will be happy if a person from their Region is in a high profile status in the society. Atleast to tell others that this .. this person is from their state/region etc. This is just a moral fame for them.

People feel very proud and consider a fame to them, if any leader or a key person in the society is from their RELIGION. Why do each and everything is seen under RELIGION's Perspective ? Its good if the people are being chosen under Merit irrespective of Religion. But Does this happen here in India?

Should it be blamed on the Government or on the Public? No, being a citizen of a democratic country, Everybody is responsible for this crisis.

The education System ?? It should not be based on any conditions. Let the Government take the initiative for this.

Is Education in India a mandatory one ??. Yes. Education should be made compulsary.

And on the other side there are two categories again. Children in Government schools and Private schools. Most People want their children to be educated only in Private Schools. It is because they dont trust on the institutions being run by the Government. Why not the Govt. should take Necessary steps to improve the quality in education rather than concentrating on other things.

Children can be given free Education. Be it the people from any society. Our Country is in need of Quality Education. Number of Schools in the Country never speaks. Privileges are for all. Be it a person from a Poor family or from a High class family. Why does this word HIGH CLASS came here? Its just not a dividing terminology in Society or caste basis. It is upon the earnings. Let them have free education till they complete their Schoolings. Let the infrastructure in educational Institutions get developed.

Again, the fight starts once these people complete their schoolings. Before they take their first step into college, Quota comes into the picture. Sorry. Quota remains there. People start falling into the Quota picture which stands firm and always there.

The differences is not to be between peoples under Caste. Mainly Differenes should not be there. But in India it cannot be like that. Let the reservation speak in two terminologies. Let the difference be between the people who are rich and who are poor. Let the poor, have some benefits. Let these people also grow in a clearly defined society. Let them have their seats under specific quota.

Yes.. I do agree that India is a Secular country. But whats happening here. It is not meant to have places on cast system. It speaks about the economy and the capability of the person.

Will this Criticism change in India ?? Will the people be aware of what is happening around them ???

Friendship in the Heart

Two inseparable friends, Sam and Jason, met with an accident on their way to Boston City. The following morning, Jason woke up blind and Sam was still unconscious. Dr. Berkeley was standing at his bedside looking at his health chart and medications with a thoughtful expression on his face. When he saw Sam awake, he beamed at him and asked." How are you feeling today Sam?" Sam tried to put up a brave face and smiled back saying, "absolutely wonderful Doctor. I am very grateful for all that you have done for me. "Dr Berkeley was moved at Sam's deed. All that he could say was, "You are a very brave man Sam and God will make it up to you in one way or another". While he was moving on to the next patient, Sam called back at him almost pleading, "promise me you won't tell Jason anything". "You know I won't do that. Trust me." and walked away."Thank you " whispered Sam. He smiled and looked up in prayer " I hope I live up to your ideas...please give me the strength to be able to go through this..Amen" Months later when Jason had recuperated considerably, he stopped hanging around with Sam. He felt discouraged and embarrassed to spend time with a disabled person like Sam. Sam was lonely and disheartened ,since he didn't have any body else other than Jason to count on. Things went from bad to worse. And one day Sam died in despair. When Jason was called on his burial, he found a letter waiting for him. Dr Berkeley gave it to him with an expressionless face and said" This is for you Jason. Sam had asked me to give it to you when he was gone". In the letter he had said: " Dear Jason, I have kept my promise in the end to lend you my eyes if anything had happened to them. Now there is nothing more that I can ask from God, than the fact ,that will see the world through my eyes. You will always be my best friend........Sam". When he had finished reading Dr. Berkeley said " I had promised Sam to keep his sacrifice he made a secret from you. But now I wish I didn't stick it Because I don't think It was worthy it" . All that was left for Jason while he stood there was tears of regret and memories of Sam for the rest of his life . Lesson of the story: No matter what If we make a friend, we should stick by him till the end. Life is meaningless without a friend.
